Honda City RS VTEC is the sportier, range-topping version of the Honda City, tuned for a more dynamic look and driving feel while keeping the same everyday practicality. It is usually powered by a 1.5‑litre DOHC i‑VTEC engine with around 119 hp and 145 Nm, paired to a CVT automatic, or in some markets a turbocharged or hybrid powertrain badged as RS/e:HEV RS for stronger performance and efficiency.
The RS VTEC trim typically adds a more aggressive exterior kit with sportier bumpers, black or dark chrome grille, larger alloy wheels, rear spoiler, and RS badging. Inside, it often features sport-style seats, darker interior trim, contrast stitching, and extra equipment such as a larger touchscreen, more speakers, paddle shifters, and additional comfort features. Safety equipment generally matches or exceeds the regular City, with multiple airbags, ABS, stability control, and in many markets a full Honda Sensing suite including adaptive cruise control, lane‑keep assist, and automatic emergency braking.
